In today’s fast lane life we feel burn and battered faster than expected. At the heart of tech hub we have a freshest dining room which brings a lot of class with it. Sly Fox Gastro Club, a huge 4535 square feet outlet recently launched at Globsyn Crystals Building, Sector V, Salt Lake. The European design high ceiling gastropub with catchy upholstery and golden tree candles gives it a classy ambiance.
Once you enter the dining room the center of attraction is its mammoth bar and huge wooden bark table with tall chairs. The bar produces some alluring mocktails. Orange Mojito is made with freshly squeezed orange juice mixed with mint leaves, orange chunks and topped with soda. Watermelon Basil Cooler is a punch of fresh watermelon juice and basil leaves topped with soda and finished with watermelon scoops. The common link of both these drinks lies in this fresh ingredients and subtle taste, enjoyed till the last drop.

The concoction magic continues with Spiked Green Apple is soda mixed with green apple concentrate while spiked with freshly cut ginger, so refreshing. Try this with granny smith. Fox On The Beach is a punch of coconut water and lemonade with twist of fresh mint leaves served inside tender coconut shell. The mixture did not excite me as the taste fell flat. The ice served outside thick coconut shell did not change the temperature of the drink. Spicy Guava has the notes of ginger, pepper dash of tabasco sauce mixed with fresh guava juice. The tangy tones of lemon juice make this guava drink stands out of the crowd. The presentation is refreshing but overdone of the artificial flowers looks very tacky.

Moving to appetizers, we had Butter Chicken Jacket Potatoes which has crispy baked thick potato skins stuffed with butter chicken topped with sour cream foam and served with yellow butter gravy. Was okayish as a final product. Foxy Dimsum a multi-colored bouquet of chicken dimsums served with chili oil and black bean chili jam. the most eye catchy dish by the restaurant.
Daawat-e-Kebab is an assortment of nimbu achaar murgh tikka, murgh malai tikka hari mirch, gosht seekh kebab & Amritsari mahi tikka served inside golden cage. Each an every kebabs were bursting with flavors. Sliced Fish in Hoisin Sauce has crispy fried fish wok tossed in hoisin sauce with fresh vegetables. Wow, don’t forget to try this.
We were so full after enjoying exquisite appetizers and kebabs we headed towards desserts. Tres Leches is vanilla sponge cake served with three textures of creamy milk. Taste it to believe this. Lemon Cremeux Profiteroles is a filled French choux pastry ball filled with lemon cream served with hot chocolate sauce.
The mind behind this gastropub has left no stones unturned to give the city the best of fine dining experience. Keeping in mind the uniqueness, Sly Fox Gastro Club positions itself to be a vintage gastro club with a modern twist where appearance, texture and taste plays a big role. It was a wonderful experience to meet the creator of gastro molecular cuisine Chef Naresh Bokka (Executive Chef) and friendly and prompt staff with lightning fast service under the leadership of Mr. Amit Banerjee (General Manager).
