Finally, a cafe who knows about coffee

Freshly brewed coffee aroma always entices me and while roaming at Kormangala smell of freshly grounded coffee beans alerted my olfactory nerves. The Flying Squirrel is a modern cafe serving fresh coffee produced in their farms along with many savories.
However, on a hot day to help me to settle down what can be better than a cold coffee. So without further due had Cold Coffee with Sunny Farms Natural Flavoring Cinnamon Almond at my table. Now that’s a nice twist to a cold coffee. The delicate flavor of cinnamon and almond drops took the creamy beverage to a next level.

So now, time to move to towards main course. Beer Battered Prawns served with jumbo prawns golden fried accompanied with hash brown patty with tangy salsa sauce and fresh leafy salad. In general for a golden fried prawns it is served with sweet chili sauce but this is where the cafe scores the brownie points with their presentation. Makes complete heartfelt dish. If you are a spaghetti lover then don’t miss to try their creation spaghetti with jumbo prawns. The spaghetti cooked in olive oil infused with garlic and Coorg’s bird eye chili and served with drizzle of parmesan. The flavour of garlic, tangyness of parmesan, aroma of garlic and jing of bird eye makes it one hell of an interesting dish. It will be injustice to leave the cafe without trying their own grown organic coffee.

I generally have a habit to order a cuppa of pipping hot coffee after a heavy meal. So going as per my own built tradition had Parama cappuccino. Parama is one of their popular variant of coffees and the uniqueness of these medium to dark roast Arabica beans is the chocolaty-caramel notes.

One of the best coffees I had in my lifetime. Finally we have a cafe who knows about their coffee. Not like other big brand names who sells their logo but The Flying Squirrel knows what they are growing, brewing from heart and serving to connoisseurs. I was so thoroughly impressed with their coffees that got a pouch of finely grounded parama for my family. These coffees are also available online for home delivery. Only thing which I felt can be improved is the efficiency of their servers while communicating and knowledge about varieties of coffees in the cafe. But saying so they were courteous and tried to provide their best service to make you leave with a smiling face.
